Vocabulary:

1. The near and the dear ones - close friends and family
2. The rich and the poor ones - the rich people and the poor people. You can also say, “For the rich and the poor”

Grammar Notes:

1. What have you done? – Present Perfect Tense, often used when asking about the result of an action that started in the past and is completed now.
2. Another year (is) over (colloquial) – [Correct: Another year is over.] – another year ended.
3. A new one (has) just begun. - Present Perfect Tense [the auxiliary verb "has" (for 3rd person singular  - "A new one") + past participle of the verb "to begin"]
4. A new one; a good one - “one” is a substitute for “year” in this context. The word “year” has been mentioned in the previous sentence. So to avoid repeating it twice, we use the word “one”.
5.Let’s stop all the fight. - Let’s stop all fighting.
